Magnasoft TLC hydrophilic softener is nonionic, making it compatible with a multitude of other formulating components. It also may improve the tear strength and flex abrasion properties of certain types of fabric. It generally improves the hydrophilicity of hydrophobic substrates significantly, while not inhibiting the wettability of hydrophilic substrates.

Intended for use with single-use or limited-life products, Magnasoft TLC hydrophilic softener has been proven successful when applied to 100% synthetics, such as polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene and polyester/cotton blends.
