Niax silicone L-838 is a low emission, low potency silicone stabilizer used in the production of flexible polyurethane foam. It offers optimum stabilization with very good foam porosity, and fine and regular cells in medium to high density conventional foam. Niax silicone L-838 has demonstrated broad processing latitude with virtually all grades of conventional flexible foam and across a variety of foaming equipment.

Niax silicone L-838 offers optimum cell stabilization in flexible polyurethane foam blocks as it combines excellent foaming stability with very good airflow characteristics over a broad range of foam densities.

It also provides very fine and regular cell size, cell uniformity, and good density distribution.

Niax silicone L-838 may also be considered for use in TDI- and MDI- viscoelastic foam formulations where low potency is required.
