CoatOSil* 7602 Coatings Additive

Increased Slip for Water-borne Coatings and Inks

CoatOSil 7602 coatings additive is a silicone copolymer with a polyethylene-oxide (EO) pendant side chain. The silicone portion of the molecule can help provide benefits such as good mar resistance and antiblock capabilities. The EO component enables ideal compatibility with water-borne coatings and inks. This chemical structure makes CoatOSil 7602 coatings additive an excellent candidate for water-borne coatings and inks requiring a low coefficient of friction (COF) for increased slip.

More About CoatOSil* 7602 Coatings Additive

While CoatOSil 7602 coatings additive contains a higher level of silicone content than CoatOSil 7600  copolymer, it can still offer recoatability in most formulations.  CoatOSil 7602 coatings additive can also help deliver better slip, good mar resistance and a lower propensity to form foam. Overcoatability may also be attained, depending on the complete characteristics of the formulation and the additive use level.
