We introduced our global Silplus portfolio in 2011 to serve customers in dozens of industries with thousands of application needs. This comprehensive and versatile high-consistency heat-cured silicone rubber (HCR) solution encompasses four different families of products available with a broad range of hardness ratings and other properties. Silplus peroxide-cure HCRs can potentially offer companies a single, easily adopted range of solutions through one dependable product line.
From the soft padding and anti-static properties of Silplus 30 AS HCR in a smartphone case to the rock-solid mechanical properties of high-durometer Silplus 80 MP HCR, Silplus heat-cured rubbers can provide the right hardness for the job while boosting strength and mechanical properties so customers can set their specifications and expectations higher.
The Silplus family of heat-cured rubbers can be molded, extruded or calendered using conventional rubber processing equipment, helping our customers effectively meet a range of cost, durability and mechanical performance standards. Our Silplus portfolio offers four different families of products with a broad range of hardness characteristics: Silplus EX products optimized for extrusion applications, Silplus CW products for cable and wire applications, Silplus MP for multiple manufacturing processes, and Silplus HS products for high-performance applications requiring even greater tear strength and enhanced mechanical properties.
