SilForce* SL6020 Release Coating

Rapid Crosslinking, Efficient Production

SilForce SL6020 release coating is developed to provide a generally quicker cure at reduced oven temperatures versus conventional homopolymer poly(methylhydrogen)siloxane products. Under normal conditions, SilForce SL6020 release coating can be a highly efficient addition-cure crosslinking polymer that may be suitable for use in release coating applications requiring high production speed. SilForce SL6020 release coating is formulated with vinylsilicone base polymer systems, and can be blended with homopolymer crosslinkers when good anchorage on film substrates is sought.

More About SilForce* SL6020 Release Coating

SilForce SL6020 release coating is a linear copolymer of (methylhydrogen)siloxane and (dimethyl)siloxane units. This structure can enable better access to reactive SiH sites by vinyl groups of silicone base polymers and thus can speed up the crosslinking reaction. SilForce SL6020 release coating is most effective for rapid processing of addition- cure silicone release coatings applied to base sheets with good holdout, such as those found in SCK and glassines.

Stable and versatile, SilForce SL6020 release coating can be an excellent candidate for use with most vinylsilicone base polymer and controlled release modifiers.
