WATERFORD, N.Y. (October 12, 2016) – Momentive Performance Materials, Inc. (“Momentive”) announces that Holger Albrecht has been named the Business Unit (BU) Leader for its global Silicone Elastomers Business.
Albrecht brings nearly 30 years of experience in the silicones industry. He joined Bayer AG in Leverkusen / Germany in 1987 in a marketing assignment and moved in 1989 to Bayer Silicones. There, he held different roles in sales and marketing. Due to his strong technical knowledge and his customer commitment he was asked to build and lead the Asia Pacific Technical Service Center for Bayer Silicones in Singapore. Upon his return from Asia in 1998, he worked in several positions in marketing, product management and BU leadership for Bayer Silicones, GE-Bayer Silicones and now Momentive.
As a strong advocate of product research and application development as a catalyst for growth, Albrecht will attend the upcoming K 2016, where Momentive will feature live demonstrations of Silopren* LSR liquid silicone rubber molding, in cooperation with industry partners. K 2016 takes place October 19-26 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
