Momentive Performance Materials To Raise Prices For Silicone Products Globally

ALBANY, N.Y., June 17, 2011 — Momentive Performance Materials Inc. announced today that it will raise prices across its silicones business product lines globally, by amounts that vary by specific product and region, effective July 1, 2011, or as contracts allow.

The price increase is required to address higher material and transportation costs and to help enable the company to continue to deliver specialty material solutions that provide proven value for customers. Momentive is committed to continuing to expand new product development capabilities, strengthening its global manufacturing footprint and improving customer service support.
