The investment strengthens supply reliability while expanding access to advanced tire technology and technical expertise, supporting one of the world's fastest-growing tire manufacturing markets.

The expansion reinforces Momentive's commitment to investing in high-growth markets, enhancing responsiveness, accelerating innovation, and supporting customers across IMEA and Asia-Pacific. It also aligns with India's Make in India initiative by increasing domestic production of advanced materials and further strengthening the country's position as a global tire manufacturing hub.

As tire manufacturers seek solutions that deliver performance, processing efficiency, and sustainability, NXT™ P97 Silane offers a compelling option. Designed for silica-reinforced tread compounds, the bio-based silane contains 79% renewable carbon and helps optimize rolling resistance, wear performance, and mercaptosilane processing through enhanced filler dispersion and improved polymer-filler interaction. By enabling longer-lasting tires and improved fuel efficiency, NXT™ P97 silane may also contribute to lower CO₂ and particulate emissions during the tire use phase, supporting more sustainable mobility.
