Silwet ECO super spreader can promote lower surface tension and more uniform coverage on foliar surfaces, potentially leading to lower water spray volumes, reduced application times / costs and, in many cases, better pesticide efficacy. The low-foaming properties of Silwet ECO super spreader can improve mixing efficiency and help minimize waste compared to other activator-spreader adjuvants. High spray volumes and high surfactant rates are not generally required to achieve significant coverage when using Silwet ECO super spreader.

Silwet ECO super spreader can be considered for use as an effective adjuvant in most agrochemical formulations including pesticide applications. It is also used successfully as a tank-side spray adjuvant and has shown to lower spray volumes in spray applications. Quite remarkably, Silwet ECO super spreader has provided adequate coverage to many low-volume spray applications at dosage rates ranging between 0.025% and 0.1%.
