Indusil™ 140 silicone is an aqueous solution of a silicone polymer modified with organic groups that can be used as a heat-sensitive coagulant for natural and synthetic rubber latex. At temperatures below its cloud point, it is completely soluble in water and can help stabilize latex emulsions. At temperatures above its cloud point, it can speed up the coagulation of the latex emulsions.
