GeoCell™ Silicone L-450

GeoCell silicone L-450 is a silicone offering to produce flexible polyurethane foam based on conventional polyether polyols with a coarse and irregular cell structure.

When properly formulated, GeoCell silicone L-450 may produce foam that mimics the typical structure of high resilience (HR) foam. 

GeoCell silicone L-450 can be considered as a foam solution additive for next generation mattress production as its use offers improved air permeability and resiliency with minimum impact on final foam hardness. 

Description
GeoCell silicone L-450 offers fast structural recovery after compression and improved foam durability. Theresulting enhanced breathability and strong cell struts enable the final foam to be used for compressed mattressand furniture applications.

Upon using GeoCell silicone L-450, a SAG factor close to HR foam of the same density can be achieved. GeoCell silicone L-450 shows best results when it is used in conjunction with Niax™ silicone L-894 and it is suitable over awide density range.
