CoatOSil 7500 copolymer consists of a silicone backbone with all polypropylene-oxide (PO) polyether. The PO component enables CoatOSil 7500 copolymer to be generally compatible with solvent-borne and high solids coatings and inks. This, along with its wetting and leveling properties, makes CoatOSil 7500 copolymer an excellent candidate to consider in coil coating paint formulations.
Solvent-borne formulations that incorporate CoatOSil 7500 copolymer have demonstrated superior flow and leveling characteristics as well as good wetting. This copolymer can also be considered for use in pigment dispersions.
