Silsoft™ 034 Fluid is an excellent candidate as a sensory enhancer in personal care applications. It can improve the spreadability of a variety of cosmetic oils. It allows formulations that contain vegetable oils, cosmetic esters, petrolatum or mineral oil to feel less greasy. Silsoft 034 fluid is an outstanding option in skin care products to provide a silky after feel and to reduce the rub-on time of lotions and creams. In color cosmetic formulations, it can provide a silky after feel and significantly improves the dispersibility of inorganic pigments in formulations that contain organic oils. The solution is a low molecular weight, low viscosity polysiloxane modified with an octyl pendant group. This modification with an octyl group makes the product compatible with most cosmetic oils and waxes. In addition, it helps to disperse inorganic pigments in organic oils
