An excellent candidate for use with artificial leathers, Baysilone OF-OH502-6% polyurethane resin modifier is a non-solvent-based, linear polydimethylsiloxane with low molecular weight that may offer a less sticky, more comfortable feel to polyurethane leather.

The versatile Baysilone OF-OH502-6% polyurethane resin modifier may be combined with various polyurethane and polyester polymers to create a hybrid polymer with excellent results. Terminated with a primary carbinol group, this modifier is typically capable of producing normal alcohol reactions. With a low molecular weight, it is easily incorporated into most polyurethane resin systems.
In addition to offering an improved feel to artificial leather, Baysilone OF-OH502-6% polyurethane resin modifier may create a polyurethane coating with superior durability and weather resistance. Polyurethane resin coatings formulated with this modifier may be more water repellent, less sticky and resistant to both high and low temperatures.
Baysilone OF-OH502-6% polyurethane resin modifier may be applied with Baysilone OF-OH502-3% polyurethane resin modifier to formulate a polyurethane resin with different OH values.
