More About Niax™ Silicone L-5111

When used for the continuous lamination process, Niax silicone L-5111 additive is typically combined with aromatic polyester polyols and pentane as blowing agents. Because it can help reduce elongated cells and pin holes, it may also be considered for use in the free-rise lamination process. Niax silicone L-5111 additive helps improve nucleation to produce an extremely fine cell texture that improves both initial and aged insulation value.

Niax silicone L-5111 additive is typically used at a range from 2.0 to 3.0 pph of polyol.
