Magnasoft SRS-70 textile softener typically adds a premium soft, full hand feel to a wide variety of fabrics, including cotton, synthetics and cotton/synthetic blends. It may be a particularly ideal candidate for fabrics treated with soil-release additives, where it generally has little to no interference with soil-release properties, as well as wrinkle-free garments treated with durable press resins. In fact, it typically may be easily coapplied with soil-release agents.

A unique linear, polydimethylsiloxane-amino polyalkyleneoxide block copolymer, Magnasoft SRS-70 textile softener typically provides exceptional levels of softness and a silky, smooth feel to fabric. Magnasoft SRS-70 textile softener imparts a slow-wetting, hydrophilic quality to fabrics and imparts very low yellowing, compared to conventional aminosilicones. Recognized for its durability, Magnasoft SRS-70 textile softener typically continues to work after numerous washes, showing almost no loss of softness even after five detergent washings.

It generally easily dilutes with water or alcohol and because it does not require emulsification, Magnasoft SRS-70 textile softener is exceptionally shear stable. This makes it typically a suitable candidate for demanding applications, such as EVAC systems where conventional emulsified softeners are not adequate. When diluted with water, Magnasoft SRS-70 textile softener also may work well in finishing baths.
