Most silicone release coatings provide easy release. SilForce SL6031 release coating includes a silicone resin agent that can raise release force necessary to delaminate release liners from conventional pressure-sensitive adhesives. Release liners coated with SilForce SL6031 release coating typically display tight-release performance compared to unmodified, easy-release silicone-coated liners. Two-sided differential release tapes can be produced with the addition of SilForce SL6031 release coating to a silicone coating applied on one side of the tape. Tight-release liners featuring silicone coatings with SilForce SL6031 release coating can be excellent candidates for use in high-speed labeling applications where tight release prevents premature dispensing.

SilForce SL6031 release coating typically provides reproducible controlled-release performance when blended with standard-release base polymers, and can also be effective in fast-curing formulations capable of cure at reduced temperature necessary for thin-gauge film liner application.
