SILICONE ANTIFOAM CONCENTRATE FOR AQUEOUS IN-CAN FORMULATIONS
SAG 1529 antifoam concentrate contains 78% actives and can provide significantly enhanced performance in difficult foaming systems. This durable antifoam is easy to use and offers excellent dispersibility. Although application specific, use rates of 0.25% to 0.5% typically provide effective foam control in most adjuvant and pesticide formulations.

More About SAG™ 1529 Antifoam Concentrate
Figure 1 illustrates the durability of SAG 1529 antifoam in a glyphosate tank-mix containing high levels of spray adjuvant (at 2.5%), compared to a conventional antifoam (CFCA). The antifoam components were dispersed in the tank-mix at 55 ppm and placed on a wrist action shaker for one minute. Cumulative shake times of one minute, 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 60 minutes demonstrate good antifoam durability that prevents undesirable re-foaming.
