Niax™ Silicone L-6633
FINE-CELLED AND LOW VOIDS FOAM PANELS
Niax silicone L-6633 is an excellent silicone copolymer to consider for delivering high foam surface quality in the manufacture of rigid polyurethane foams. This silicone copolymer helps promote good foam flow and reduced surface voids as well as skin densification. Niax silicone L-6633 may be considered for use in hydrocarbons, HCFC and HFC-blown PIR and PUR foams. Generally compatible with polyether and polyester polyols, Niax silicone L-6633 can combine good resin solubility with very good foam stabilization and fine cells.

Niax silicone L-6633 helps reduce cell coalescence and improve foam flow on substrates, which may reduce the formation of surface voids. Niax silicone L-6633 generally has compatibility with both polyester and polyether polyol while also supporting the emulsification of blowing agents.
Niax silicone L-6633 can support fast emulsification of pentane blowing agents and is an excellent surfactant to consider for use in PIR formulation with aromatic polyester polyols and in continuous lamination of insulation panels and block foam.
