Typically providing both fine- and open-cell structure with good processing flexibility, this silicone is ideal candidate to consider for both high-density viscoelastic foams and tight foam formulations.

More About Niax* Silicone L-627

This specialty silicone foam additive exhibits unique cell-opening characteristics, making it an excellent candidate to consider for processing a wide variety of flexible slabstock foams. An excellent candidate for use in semi-rigid slab foams for automotive headliner systems, the silicone agent helps prevent shrinkage. Niax silicone L-627 is also generally effective in the production of high-density viscoelastic foams with a density of 3.0 pcf (48 kg/m 3 ) or greater, such as those used in high-end bedding.

Combined with other surfactants like Niax silicone L-620, this superior silicone additive can greatly enhance the processing of viscoelastic and low-permeability slab foams.

  • High-density viscoelastic foams such as those used in high-end bedding
