More About Niax* Catalyst EF-602

Niax catalyst EF-602 can provide manufacturers of molded foams with a superior delayed catalyst that produces quality results in foam production. The catalyst's unique molecular design and high molecular weight generally work well with the chemical structure of the final urethane polymer and typically make for easy processing with a broad range of raw materials and equipment.  

Notably, this catalyst typically improves hardness in TDI-based molded foams, can meet stringent emission specifications and can retain good physical properties. Depending upon the index and level of grafted polyol added to the formulation, final foam products can easily be made as soft or as hard as specifications require. Used on its own in a formulation or in combination with a blow catalyst, it generally offers extended cream time, smooth expansion and more open foam with better physical properties.
