SOFT, SILKY FEEL FOR SOIL-RELEASE FINISHES
Magnasoft MT80 textile softener typically creates an extraordinarily soft, silk-like, full hand to fabrics, including cotton, synthetics, cotton/synthetic blends, knits and other woven fabrics. It is typically an excellent candidate for fabrics treated with fluorocarbon soil-release products. While maintaining durability through numerous detergent washes, this softener is generally low-yellowing compared to aminosilicones, which helps aid the color retention of fabrics. In addition, fabrics treated with Magnasoft MT80 textile softener are not hydrophobic. It typically imparts a slow-wetting quality to the fabrics.

Magnasoft MT80 textile softener generally boosts performance in both the finishing process and within the final treated fabric. A linear, polydimethylsiloxane-amino polyalkyleneoxide copolymer, Magnasoft MT80 textile softener is also an ideal candidate for adding a silky softness to wrinkle-free garments treated with durable press resins.
Magnasoft MT80 textile softener may be used in most typical application methods, including pad bath, exhaustion and spray. Magnasoft MT80 textile softener typically also easily combines with water or alcohol for dilutions that are extremely shear stable and compatible with finishing baths. Because it does not require emulsification, Magnasoft MT80 textile softener has the shear stability generally necessary for demanding applications where normal, emulsified softeners do not show adequate shear stability.
