Sanitary A silicone is a one part acetoxy silicone sealant, which cures with atmospheric moisture to form a rubber like seal for specialized glazing applications, joint sealing and assembly. Sanitary A silicone is unaffected by high or low temperatures and its physical properties are designed to give excellent durability and performance. Weathering and UV-resistance are good, important in glazing applications where most organic sealants fail.

Material Adhesion

Sanitary A silicone has an excellent adhesion to non-porous substrates like glass, ceramics, some metals and coated surfaces. Some surfaces require the use of a primer.
